Luxembourgers in the New World: The Lost Chapters

Chapter 6: Spokesmen

It remains for us only here to give the address of the spokesmen for the benefit of those landsmen who perhaps will leave from or arrive at the designated ports. It should be noted that at present there is no Catholic spokesman stationed in Philadelphia, although, in an emergency, one can refer in full confidence to Mr. L. M. Kieffer, a Luxemburger, on the southwest corner of 5th and Girard Ave., and who will be quite helpful to his compatriots. Hopefully a spokesman will be found for there in the not too distant future.

Antwerp: Mr. J. W. Wurden, 49 Ave. Charlotte

Rotterdam: Mr. Jakob Zollen, Van Der Tackstraat

Havre: Mr. P. Lambert Nethmann, 3 Ave Doubet

New York: Rev. J. Reuland, Cath. Priest, No. 6 State Street, Across from Castle Garden
