Luxembourgers in Chicago, with Kevin Wester
Chicago is home to the largest settlement of Luxembourg immigrants and their descendants in the U.S. Kevin has been researching Luxembourgers in Chicago for many years in anticipation of a forthcoming book on this topic. His presentation will focus on the immigrant experience based on Luxembourg neighborhoods, parishes, greenhouses/truck farms and membership societies. All are invited to learn about this unique story of Luxembourgers in America.
About Kevin
Kevin is recognized as an expert in all things Luxembourg and the Luxembourg-American story. He was a driving force behind the founding of the Luxembourg American Cultural Society and served as its first Executive Director for ten years. Kevin founded the business now known as Luxembourg Legacy in 2015 and has assisted thousands of applicants with their Luxembourg dual citizenship. He has also taken nearly 500+ Luxembourg Americans to Luxembourg on his annual tours. In addition, Kevin has written numerous family histories as well as other books pertaining to Luxembourg topics. He has been researching Luxembourgers in Chicago for the past five years in anticipation of an upcoming book on this topic.
