Luxembourg Legacy is pleased to offer a complimentary webinar series designed to deepen your understanding of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg-American story.
All webinars are free and open to the public. Space is limited and sessions fill quickly, so we encourage you to register as soon as each event is announced.

We’re proud to kick off our webinar series with a screening of the 2024 documentary film “Luxembourg in America,” written and directed by Geoff Thompson, who will join us live from Kleinbettingen, Luxembourg, to introduce the film and field questions.

In this fun one-hour, no-pressure webinar, Liz will teach basic Luxembourgish words and phrases. Knowing a little Luxembourgish is a great way to show your Luxembourgish pride and it can be helpful if you plan to visit the Grand Duchy.

Chicago is home to the largest settlement of Luxembourg immigrants and their descendants in the United States. Kevin’s presentation will focus on the immigrant experience based on Luxembourg neighborhoods, parishes, greenhouses/truck farms and membership societies.

In this beginner-friendly webinar, Rebecca will guide you step by step through starting your Luxembourgish family tree. She’ll show you how to find ancestors using the free website FamilySearch and introduce helpful Luxembourg-specific resources like LuxRoots and GeneaPal.
