Discovering Luxembourg’s Rich Heritage
The Marnach House (Luxembourg stone house restoration) near Elba, Minnesota, will hold its annual Fall Open House on Saturday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy tours of the house, food and hay rides.

The Marnach House is one of three 19th century Luxembourgish stone houses restored in the early 1990s by the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture (Sites & Monuments) and the former Luxembourg Heritage Society of America. Other restored stone houses include the Sinnen House in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, and the Gehlen House in St. Donatus, Iowa.
Come show your support of this architectural gem of Luxembourg heritage in Minnesota! There is no admission charge to the home, located in Whitewater State Park on Highway 74 near Elba, but a $10 donation is requested for food and hay ride.
