Community: Aurora, Illinois

Aurora, Illinois is one of the largest settlements of Luxembourgers in the Midwest. The “city” Luxembourgers belonged to St. Nicholas Church on High Street and the “country” Luxembourgers belonged to Annunciation Church in “Marywood” or “Big Woods.” Read more about Aurora in our Settlement Spotlight.
