When is Luxembourg Going to a 10-Year Passport?

About a year ago, the National Passport Office in Luxembourg City shared with Luxembourg Legacy that they would be going to a 10-year passport in the fall of 2025. We asked for an update in early autumn and were told the change would not be happening in 2025 but possibly in spring 2026.   

Please remember that even though Luxembourg is small and very efficient in many ways, this is a big change. Hopefully the change to a 10-year passport will happen this spring but who knows!
